Through the test data of 13 shopping malls in different cities around the country, compares the installation cooling load indices and actual operating cooling load indices. The results show that there exits obvious differences, and this is attributed to that the basic design parameters are incorrect. Based on the project’s business characteristics, determines the basic design parameters of the air conditioning system. This will provide guidance to reduce operating costs of built shopping malls and investment of new shopping malls.
